Meet Lacey-Marree
Dental Assistant
Lacey-Marree was inspired to become a dental assistant because of her love for helping people. “I like the idea of supporting patients, especially those who feel nervous about dental visits, and being part of a team that improves people’s confidence in their smile.” She also enjoys hands-on practical work, which made dentistry feel like the perfect fit for her.
After successfully completing Year 11, Lacey-Marree began her career in dental assisting and has welcomed the opportunity to grow within the profession. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is the people she’s surrounded by every day. She enjoys being part of a supportive team that makes the workplace enjoyable and motivating.
“I also love having conversations with patients, getting to know them, and helping them feel comfortable in what can sometimes be a stressful environment.” For Lacey-Marree, building those connections and making a positive difference in someone’s day is what makes her role truly rewarding.
Life Beyond the Practice
Outside of work, Lacey-Marree loves expressing herself through fashion and creating unique styles (she often finds great pieces through thrift shopping). She also loves painting, listening to music, and playing guitar. Spending time outdoors is another favourite pastime, whether it’s relaxing, exploring, or simply enjoying fresh air.
