Your First Check-up/Clean
For most patients, a check-up and cleaning is their first appointment with us. When you arrive, we’ll welcome you and enjoy a bit of chit-chat to get to know you and to help you relax—we’re a local, family-owned practice, and we set ourselves apart by building relationships with our patients in order to provide truly personalised care.
At this appointment, you’ll be with your dentist for the whole visit. They will do a thorough examination of your teeth and mouth, including X-rays if necessary. If there are no issues contraindicating a cleaning at this time, they will proceed.
This visit typically takes from 30-40 minutes. Our office will check in with you every six months to remind you that it’s time for your regular check-up.
Gentle Care
Our team of dentists are very gentle and focused on providing minimally-invasive care that is as comfortable as possible for every member of the family. We take our time to help make children feel relaxed and enthusiastic about taking good care of their teeth, so they look forward to their next visit.
Treatment Plans
If your examination reveals issues that require further treatment, we will explain the problem and our recommendations for correction. We’ll answer any of your questions so you can make an informed decision regarding your care. We’ll print out your comprehensive treatment plan for you, and then leave it to you to decide how to proceed. We don’t employ high-pressure tactics to lock you into a care plan; we are committed to working with you to achieve your goals.
Emergency Dental
Dental emergencies are never convenient, and they’re especially troublesome when they happen at night or on weekends. We offer after-hours emergency care (evenings and weekends), and our phones are answered 24/7 to ensure that you get the care you need when you need it.
